Program Management Professional (PgMP)

The Program Management Professional (PgMP) is the next logical career progression for experienced project managers as they embark on managing larger initiatives that contain a collection of related projects. Programs largely focus on delivering business capabilities, complex products, and large-scale transformations.

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification Training

Since its introduction in 2003, the Certified Associate in Project Management^® has opened the door to an exciting career in project management for nearly 27,000 people. Attaining the entry-level CAPM certification shows your capability to work as part of a project team, with demonstrable knowledge of project management best practices.

CAPM certification is a valuable entry-level certification for project managers, established by the Project Management Institute, and displays a commitment to the profession of project management.  It ensures that the certified individual has the fundamental knowledge of project management and its associated processes. CAPM certification is awarded to professionals who qualify in the CAPM certification exam that is based on PMBOK^® Guide – Sixth Edition and demonstrate a professionals knowledge and experience in project management.  This certification is valid across industries and is recognized worldwide.

Project Management Professional (PMP)

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is the gold standard in the project management certification. Studies have consistently shown that professionals with PMP earn over 25% more than those without. In some sectors, such as the U.S. government, having a PMP is almost a MUST for those who wish to lead projects.

PMO Advisory has been offering PMP training based on the latest PMBOK® Guide – Sixth Edition since September 2017, nearly six months before another training company.  Our PMP Exam Simulator contains over 2,000 questions. Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)

Since the pilot program ended in 2011, PMI-ACP has grown tremendously, making it the hottest PMI certification ever. The rationale behind the growth is a combination of three factors:

1. Agile’s growing popularity is contagious, and PMI-ACP has been riding this wave.
2. Agile is a confusing concept and there are many methods and certifications on the market. Scrum itself has at least 3 certifying bodies. And most of these certifications are a simple multiple choice exam of 90 minutes, they are not well respected in the marketplace. PMI is known for its quality, and hence PMI-ACP stands out.
3. PMI-ACP is also overarching, embracing and encompassing the Big 5 of agile methods (e.g. SCRUM, XP, Lean Software Development, Kanban, and Hybrid).  This generalization has appeal for true project professionals and organizations looking to implement a wide variety of projects.

Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)

The Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) is both a specialized arena in project management but a broader business concern.  Risk management is somewhat paradoxical as there are over 2,000 instances of mentioning in the latest PMBOK (with schedule mentioned only 1,117 times).  Yet, it is not practiced with the same vigor.  PMI believes that the tide will soon change, a reflection of what we often read in the news about major project failures such as security breaches. In fact, PMI is releasing a new global standard for portfolio, program, and project management (in April 2019).  We ought to know as our CEO is a member of the core standard committee for risk.

Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) Certification Training
